Giuseppina Radegonda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Giuseppina Radegonda (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Giuseppina Radegonda to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Guido Santo Cozzolino and Giovanni Radegonda; her parents, Salvatore Morrone and Rosina Morrone (Nee Falbo); her parents-in-law, Giuseppe, Concetta Cozzolino, Andrea and Teresa Radegonda (Nee Tesolin); her stepchildren, Frank Radegonda (Livia) and Ennio Radegonda (Patricia); her siblings, Concetta Bisciglia (late Giuseppe), Giovanni Morrone (late Luisa) and Franca (late Oscar De Rose); and her siblings-in-law, Ines Radegonda (late Andrea), Celestina Rubli (late Giovanni), Emilio Cozzolino (late Carmelina) and Riccardo Cozzolino (late Antonietta).
She is survived by: her children, Joe Cozzolino (Vera) and Maria Teresa McCann (Sean); her grandchildren, Josie Lesperance (Jason), Antonella Giorlando (Vito), Cristina Parete (Steve), Santo Cozzolino, Joseph Cozzolino, Patrick McCann, Avery McCann (Bella Basile), Tia McCann, Lianna McCann (Sam Weston), Ida Turczynski (Dusty), Anita Perry (Ralph), John Radegonda, Steven Radegonda and Nicole Radegonda; her great grandchildren, Robin, Serafina, Paolo, Domenica, Rocco, Angelina, Nicholas, Alexander, Liliana and Marco; and her sibling Divina (late Alessandro De Marco). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Angela Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N8W1Z6).
