He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gay (Twiner); his daughters, Natasha and Marina; his grandchildren, Ethan and Sasha; and his brothers, Fred and John.

“Dear Natasha and Marina and family, Sharon and I met Gerhardt many years ago when he attended prayer meeting led by Craig Armstrong who just recently passed away. Your dad sure knew his Bible and was an inspiration to talk to . I prayed quietly with you dad a short time before he passed in his room at the Met. Campus . We are truly sorry for your loss, as he was truly loved by all. Ed and Sharon Watling”
