He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Chrysanthi (Koutsonicolas); his children, Debbie Triantafillou (Manolis), Sara McLoughlin (Sean) and Sava Diakantonis (Jodi); and his grandchildren, Chrysanthi, Mihalis, Georgios, Michael, Chrissa, George and Olivia.

In memory of George, memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
