George Oglan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Oglan (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oglan and Katie Oglan; his sisters, Jean, Moe Natyshak (Bob), Connie Oglan (Ronnie) and JoHanna Oglan; his nephew Nick Natyshak; his great-nephews, Maury and Jackson Oglan; and his in-laws, Nick and Anna Lewchuk.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his grandchildren, Gannon, Griffin Djekic and Zosia Oglan; his brother Mitch Oglan; and his sisters-in-law, Sophia Strychar (Maxyme) and Lesia Florchuk (Bohdan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
