It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Costea (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Costea and Mary Costea; and his sisters, Helen (Nick Erina) and Anna (Walter Barnesky). He is survived by: his significant other Trudy; his siblings, Dan (Marge) and Pearl; his grandchildren, Amanda Roselle (Mark), Adam Zack (Emily), Matthew Mailloux (Sheila), Michael Mailloux (Erica), Mitchell Mailloux, Grace Weselak, Owen Weselak, Jennifer Costea, Joseph Costea, Ethan Costea-Shreve and Dylan Costea-Shreve; and his great grandchildren, Alessia, Isla Zack, Ezekiel, Judah Mailloux, Sylas, Tilian Mailloux, Mia, Ezra, Nehemiah and Kivah.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, Inc.
