She was predeceased by: her daughter Gisele (late John); and her parents, Magella Lavoie and Lucienne Lavoie. She is survived by: her husband John Laforest; her children, Marc (Barb) and Monique; her siblings, Aurel, Jeannette, Maurice, Smokey "Roland", Vivianne and Paul; and her sister-in-law Paulette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
