We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2023, at the age of 77, Emerita Balingit (Windsor, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Moises Vinuya and Pacitia Vinuya; her siblings, Rolando Vinuya (Isabelita), Leticia Roberto (late Reynaldo) and Rosie Reyas (Efran); and her significant other Dar.

She is survived by: her spouse Angelito "Lito" Balingit; her sister Corazon Casabal (late Feliciano); and her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Rudowski (Shem), Mariane Iatonna (Michael), Romel Vinuya (Karen), Raymond Vinuya (Mandy), Roselle Vinuya-Parent (John), Renee Hamelin (Peter), Ronaldo Casabal (Regina), Emerald Thibert (Sean), Reginald Casabal (Karolina), Anthony, Ava Iatonna, Grace, Ryann, Brennan Vinuya, Brydan, Maddan Vinuya, Annabelle, Lucy, Violet Hamelin, Ethan, Carissa Thibert and Coralin Casabal.

The procession and burial will follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N8W 1Z6.As your expression of sympathy donatons may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

She may have been pint-sized, but was always filled with joyous energy.....her presence in my life has left a positive impact.
