He was predeceased by: his wife Gail McIntyre; his parents, Ulric and Marie; and his siblings, Kathleen Peterson, Paul Labute, Pauline Steinhoff (Gerald) and Richard Labute.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Dianne), Bobby (Kim), Susan Leslie (Ron) and Kathy Bedard (Mike); his grandchildren, Daniel (Amy), Joelle (Shane), Dean (Elyse), Robert (Jessica), Alex, Erin (Sarit), Michelle (Chris), Sara (Shayne), Randi (John), Nicole (Ryan), Joel, Kurtis and Christopher (Alex); his great grandchildren, Easton, Blake, Anna, Owen, Louis, Ayla, Ryker, Samuel, Louise, Cameron, Nicholas, Benjamin, Ellie, Sawyer, Jaxon, Sydney and Rori; his siblings, Maryanne Lee (late Norman) and Larry LaBute (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Margaret Griffiths (Ian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
