He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Pomponio and Gaetana Pomponio; and his siblings, Domenico (Maria), Luigi (Maria), Angelo (Anna), Michele (Michelina), Remo (Nancy) and Umberto (Liliana).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Stella Pomponio; his children, John, Marga Pomponio, Peter and Wendy Pomponio; his grandchildren, David (Stephanie), James (Alison), Sara Slipchuk (Michael), Marissa and Olivia; his siblings, Theresa (late Marino), Antoinetta (late Marino), Assunta (Rosato) and Aldina (Antonio); and his brother-in-law Gaetano DiPonio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
