He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; his children, Barbara Mary Chapman and Gordon Kerr; his grandchildren, Christopher Lunn and Gord Kerr; his parents, George Chapman and Meta Steeves of Fredericton, N. B.; and his siblings, Bill (Yvonne), Ralph, Bob (Betty), Audrey Kitchen (Herb) and Gerry Kitchen (Ron).

He is survived by: his former wife Shirley; his brother Eric Chapman of Calgary; his children, Sandra Lunn (Anthony), Nancy Chapman (Dave Ladouceur), Joseph Kerr (Cheryl), David Kerr, Daniel Kerr, William Kerr (Kathy), John Kerr (Mary) and Linda Little; and his friends, Bill W. and Dr. Bob. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
