He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth; his grandchildren, Jessica, Spencer, Forrest, Garrett, Landis, Brennan, Kendra, Aleksandar, Danijela and Stefan; his parents, Rose Fillar (Thomson Hancock) and Harry Hancock; his stepfather Walter Fillar; his in-laws, Julius and Gizela Cerget; his brother-in-law John Cerget; and his grandparents, Rose and William Thomson.

He is survived by: his wife Anna (Cerget); and his siblings, Druscilla Rose and Danny McCallum (Christina).
