He is survived by: his wife Rosemary (Knoess); his children, Nicole Sourenian (Mike), Lisa Burke (David) and Daniel Richards (Jessica); his siblings, Kris Richards (Bill Colini), Maureen Haggith (John) and Mike Richards (Gail); his brother-in-law Wolfgang Knoess; his grandchildren, Henry, Lucy, Emery, Alex, Jack and Charlie; and his close friend Greg Monforton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations can be made in honour of David to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.
