She was predeceased by: her husband Evo; her grandchildren, Daniela and Cristian-Rino; her great grandchild Aurora; her parents, Adele Black and Thomas Black; and her in-laws, Nelda (Peter), Teresa (Eldred), Anne (Frank), Enes (Jack), Oliver (Joyce) and Ivo.

She is survived by: her sons, Ron (Paola) and Gary (Sheri).

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

Donations may be made in memory of Claire to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor-Essex.
