He was predeceased by: his significant other Ghisline Redman; his child Jodie Royan Beltz (Brandon Beltz); his granddaughter Zoe Beltz; his parents, Loraine Royan and Sinclair Royan; and his brother Kenneth Royan (Roberta Royan).

He is survived by: his niece Brenda Royan Golden (Adam Golden); and also Gaius.
