He was predeceased by: his son Todd Sove; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sove; his children, Sean Sove (Karen), Richard Sove (Berre Daoodi) and Jessica Sove (Kyle Renaud); his grandchildren, Erin, Samantha, Devon, Tylor, Cory, Chelsea, Jackson, Patrick and Kaitlynn; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emma, Ava, John and Charles; and his siblings, Roger, Howard, Mike, Laura, Tony and Dean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
