He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Charlie, Samantha, Dave, Jacob and Jonathon; his grandchildren, Ethan Haggith and Emma Buckland; his siblings, Joan Akins (Ray), Clark (Valerie Akins), Tina Akins, Rose (Jennings Kelly) and Don (Machele Shearer); his nephews, Mac and Ashleigh Shearer; and his father-in-law Donald (Margaret Shearer).
