He was predeceased by: his child Flavia Carlini; his parents, Paolo Carlini and Maria Carlini; his parents-in-law, Luigi and Antonia Cerroni; and his siblings, Mario, Vincenzo, Giuseppe, Ludovico, Michele and Philip (Inae Carlini).
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his son Luigi Carlini (Barbra Parker); his grandchildren, Karissa Mancini (Luciano), Luigi Carlini Jr., Kaitlin Amato (Marco), Malinda Ruggeri (Pierfrancesco), Nonno, Talia, Franco and Nella; his brother-in-law Giovanni Cerroni (Franca); and his brother Ludivico. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
