He was predeceased by: his sister Ginette Labelle (François); and his parents, Albert Lavigne and Jean D'Arc Lavigne. He is survived by: his siblings, Denise Hupé (Robert), Hélène Lavigne, Marcial Lavigne (Suzanne) and Rachel Lavigne (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
