Marion Porteous Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 94, Marion Porteous of Winchester, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Porteous; her parents, Lloyd LaPorte and Hilda LaPorte; her son Lloyd; and her granddaughter Laura Brant.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Porteous (Diane) of Barrie, Susan Chamberlain (David) of Gloucester and Allan Porteous (Colleen) of Winchester; her siblings, Wayne LaPorte (late Maureen) of Ottawa and Reg LaPorte (Joyce) of Morrisburg; her grandchildren, Marina Hosick (Drew), Alanna Turcotte (Patrick), Gina Jaquemet (Tim), Amy Hery (Pierre) and Jason Lauzon (Gillianne); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Abigail, Amelia, Evelyn, Luke, Andrew, Harvey, Brady, Neil, Brynlee, Claire, Benjamin, Brayah and Camden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home (62 Queen St, Chesterville, ON K0C 1H0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
