She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lafrenier and Edna; and her husband Robert Grimsley. She is survived by: her children, Darcy (Debbie), Eric (Chantal) and Brenda Grimsley; and her grandchildren, Kevin (Steffani), Jordan (Brianne), Meghan (Nicholas), Samantha (Andrew), Patrick, Nicholas and Lindsey. She is also survived by her extended family and many dear friends.

Memorial donations can be made to University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Perley & Rideau Veteran's Health Centre.
