He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Meevis; his parents, Martinus Meevis and Louisa Meevis; and his siblings, Leonie and Louis.
He is survived by: his children, Tessy Broeren (Peter) and Mark Meevis (Lorna); his grandchildren, Carissa, Nicholas, Jeremy Broeren and Austin Meevis; and his siblings, Thea, Henriette, Martinus, Gertruda and Henricus. He is also survived by the nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Salvation Army.
