He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice McIntosh and Harrison McIntosh; and his siblings, Audrey Grant, Joyce Hart and Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Lafortune; his children, Joy (Jack Aliberti), Steven (Karine Penney) and Dean; his grandchildren, Laura, Colin, Brandon, Ben and Evan; his great grandchild Ruby; and his sister Gwen Johnston.
