He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Render, Robert Guy (Betty) and Patti Allison; and his sibling-in-law Arden Holmes (Iva). He is survived by: his wife Reta (Holmes); his children, Hope (Alex), Chris (Martine) and Maureen; his great grandchildren, Leah, Christopher (Melissa), Margot, Nicholas, Sophia, Ethan, Isabelle, Braxton, Evey, John, Melissa, Benjamin and Laurel; his sister Carolyn Dawson (late Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Miltimore (Bob), Janet Holmes, Lester Holmes (Jeanette) and Lyman Holmes (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Memory of Don may be made to the Inkerman United Church or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
