He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sloane and Emily Sloane (Walker); and his siblings, Molly Spear and John Sloane. He is survived by: his spouse Muriel Milne; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Jonathon, Emily, Zachery, Kristi, Abigail and Sara; and his sibling Margaret Johnson (George).
