As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Cecil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Barber and Ethel Barber (Osborne) of Gatineau Pointe; and his siblings, Doreen Scollon, Marylin Barber, Ruth Barber and Lester Barber.
He is survived by: his sister Adele Barber; his niece Charlotte Scollon; and his great-niece Savannah Morel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (472 Main St E, Winchester, ON K0C2K0). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:15 AM and at 11:20 AM at the Maple Ridge Cemetery (12804 Maple Ridge Rd, Winchester, ON K0C1H0).
