She was predeceased by: her husband Fred McLaren; her son David McLaren; her granddaughter Brittany Melvin (Rob); her sisters, Aileen Nicoll (Ken) and Alice Thompson (Stephen); and her brother-in-law Don McLaren.
She is survived by: her children, Carl McLaren (Karen) and Marlene Melvin (Bill); her brothers, Alfred Gain (Bernice) and Alvin Gain (late Marilyn); and her brother-in-law Jack McLaren (Pat). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
