She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cavell and Marjorie Cavell; and her brother Ken Cavell. She is survived by: her husband Donald James "DJ" McDonald; her children, Sarah J. E. McDonald (Jeffrey Washer) of Lachlan, J. W and Scott C. K. McDonald (Mélissa Brochu); her grandchildren, Claire and Desmond Washer; and her brother Bruce Cavell (Cheryl).
