He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald MacLachlan and Muriel MacLachlan; his brother Wayne (Sharon); and his daughter-in-law Julie MacLachlan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Margaret MacLachlan; his children, Jennifer MacLachlan (Sandy MacLennan), Nancy McDonell, Andrew MacLachlan (Shannon MacLeod), Katharine Perry (Russ), Kimberley McBean (Chris) and Donald MacLachlan (Cynthia); and his grandchildren, Seamus, Roan, Hannah, Lachlan, Jack, Liam, Ross, Maggie, Molly, Emma, Campbell, Clinton, Noal, Tessa and Quinn.

Donations are being accepted for: Julie MacLachlan Foundation ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF CANADA - SOCIETE ALZHEIMER DU CANADA St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, S. Lancaster.

Lyall was a sibling, spouse, father, father-in-law, uncle, brother-in-law, grandfather as well as friend to many people in this community. He will be missed by many. May God keep you and comfort you in your time of sorrow and cherish your treasured memories.
