He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Findlay and Margaret Findlay; his siblings, Gayle Utman (Norm), Jack (Jean), Mac (Joan) and Roy Findlay (Jessie); and his siblings-in-law, Eunice French (Oliver), Margaret Cuthbertson (Alex), Jean Villeneuve (Omer) and Allan Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Findlay; his sons, Mark (Kim) of Elma and Todd (Lee) of Inkerman; his siblings, Betty Saunders (late Mac) of Winchester and Orma Barkley (late Doug) of Ottawa; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Findlay (late Clarence) of Deep River, Barb Phifer (John) of Williamsburg, Betty Cook (late Harry) of Cardinal and Walter McShane (late Pat) of South Mountain; and his grandchildren, Travis (Kaitlin), Connor (Tiffany), Megan (Alex), Braden (Emma) and Kyle (Ella). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
