She was predeceased by: her spouse Hendrik Byker; her daughters, Nancy Sloan and Cornelia Byker; her great grandchild Rhys Raymond; her siblings, Pieternella Fonteine and Johannes Oosse; and also Kelly Buter.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Buter (Ralph) of Morrisburg, John of Iroquois, Bill (Cindy) of Brinston, Linda Raymond (Reuben) of Renfrew and Christine Walsh (Steve) of Williamsburg; and her siblings, Marina Wielemaker, Joppa Oosse, Cornelis Oosse (Riek) and Maria Oosse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
