It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Corbiere of Wikwemikong, Ontario, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Corbiere and Adam Corbiere; his brother Billy (late Waabazii);

He is survived by: His children, Tina, Keith, Beverly, Raven and Adam; his grandchildren, Mason Phoenix, Gabriel Nodin, Brett Martin and Shayla Jane; his close friend Beverley Peltier; and his sisters, Jeannette, Elaine (Henry Hoy) and Shirley Peltier (late Chi Jim); is nieces and nephews, Nimkii, Waubmemee, William Ahzbik, Kelly, Guy, Bobby Joe, Dondi, Bernie, Cherie and Joseph. He is also survived by his partner, by his children, his family and friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in his name to the Wikwemikong Nursing Home.
