We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2021, at the age of 69, Josephine Margaret (Recollet) Manitowabi (Wikwemikong, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Recollet and Christine Recollet (Jacko); her mother-in-law Jessie Kennedy (Manitowabi); and her sisters, Doris Recollet and Linda Recollet.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Manitowabi; her children, Rachel of Cape Smith, Colleen (Patrick) of Cape Smith, Ruben (Marilyn) of Cape Smith, Arthur (Amy) of Cape Smith and Wilson (Marlene) of Cape Smith; her grandchildren, Julian (Kristen), Luke, Ian, Peyton (Eric), Lain, Sierra (Evanson), Bailey, Isabella and Oscar; her siblings, Grace, Frederick Recollet (Viola), Johnny Recollet (late Sheila), Rosie Trudeau (late Emile) and Leona Nahwegahbow (Adam); her nieces, Allison Recollet-Simon, Christine Recollet and Leslie Recollet; her godchildren, Krista and Joseph Mejaki; and her close friends, Marie Kimewon (Gotcheens), Shirley Trudeau, Victoria Manitowabi, Lucy Ann Trudeau, Jennifer Oshkawbewisens and Victoria Pennachio.
Due to COVID-19 there will be a limit of 10 people inside the Family Homestead at any given time and all other COVID-19 precautions must be followed.
