He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Maiangowi; his parents, James Maiangowi and Helen Maiangowi; his siblings, Alexandrine Pitawanakwat, Alfie, Joe, Bob and Elie Maiangowi; and his sisters-in-law, Jacqueline, Nora and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Maiangowi, Shirley Trudeau (Norman) and Patricia Maiangowi (Luc Bouffard); and his grandson Clifford Maiangowi.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rabbit Island Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Mission Church (2525 Wikwemikong Way, Wikwemikong, ON P0P2J0).
