He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Hofer and Mary Hofer (Brenner); his sister Rosemarie McPherson; and his brother-in-law Jack Eby. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph, Carl (Margaret), Herbert, Annemarie Eby and Theresa Sippel (Brian); and his brother-in-law Paul McPherson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
