He was predeceased by: his spouse Eileen Miller; his parents, James and Marion; his siblings, John, Beulah, Glenna, Eleanor and Geraldine; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Stewart, Garry Stewart and Vivian Burt.

He is survived by: his children, Larry (Darlene) of Shepard Lake, Linda (Bill Deans) of Wingham, Tom (Linda), Jerry (Cathy), Wiarton, Brad (Susan) of Wales and Mary-Lou (Paul); his grandchildren, Brett, Curtis, Colin, Jesse, Ryan, Jenna, Steven, Brodie, Jason, Wade, Brandy, Lane, Madison, Kaitlin, Braeden, Marissa, Alexa and Channing; his great grandchildren, Chesney, Shailan, Brookelin, Liam, Nathan, Robin, Hannah, Demi, Autumn, Logan and Nova; his sisters, June McDonald, Isabel Brown, Margaret Proctor and Sharon Anne (Wayne Harris); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Miller, June Stewart, Don Stewart (Marilyn), Murray Stewart (Doris) and Delmar Stewart (Joyce).
