He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine McHugh (Brierley) and Gord McHugh. He is survived by: his children, Peter 'Junior' of Wiarton and Megan of Owen Sound; his grandchild Jase Stoneman; and his siblings, Karen Dalton (Michael) of Alberta, Tracey Preiss (Doug) of Ayr and Joe McHugh (Tonya) of Ayr.
