She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Balls; her parents, Jesse Thompson and Edward Thompson; her siblings, Melvin (Mary Ellen), Lorne, Austin (Marjorie), Leslie (Tina), Pearl Buckland (Lloyd), Alice Brady (Clayton), Cora Howe (Garney) and Wanda; and her grandson Michael Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Moore of Sault Ste, Marie and Paul (Shelley) of Owen Sound; her granddaughters, Sherri Cerasuolo (Carmine) of Sault Ste and Marie; her great grandchildren, Jullian, Jaden, Joshua, Kirsten and Tyler; her great great grandchildren, Gabriel, Mackenzie, Isabel and Luca; and her sister-in-law Patsy Thompson of Lion's Head. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
