He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Wachnuik; his parents, Margaret Wachniuk and Nick Wachniuk; and his sister Albina. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Pitts (Kevin), Sue Smulders (Peter) and Dave Wachnuik (Tamara); his grandchildren, Dan (Sara) of Jordan, PJ, Becca, Kendra, Madelyn, Caidyn and Aislyn; his sisters, Eleanor Taggart (Len) and Gloria Barnes (Richard); and his sisters-in-law, Lynda, Lida and Nancy Hunter (Jim).
