She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thurston and Margaret Thurston (Olafson); and her siblings, Marion Cox, John Thurston (Wilma) and Delbert Thurston (Heather).

She is survived by: her husband Brian Norris; her children, Teri Frey, Robert Norris (Penny) and Douglas Norris (Anne); her grandchildren, Shannon Matheson (Reid), Kailynn and Wyatt Norris; her great grandchildren, Chloe and Easton Matheson; and her siblings, Fran Kozen (William) and David Thurston (Lorraine).

Donations to the Canadian Red Cross in Susan's name would be appreciated.
