He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, Frank McGuey and Beatrice McGuey; and his siblings, James, Stanley, Irvine, Grace, Evelyn, Margaret, Ivy and Georgina.
He is survived by: his children, Robin (Linda) of Embrun, Leslie Partington (John) of Perth, Chuck of White Lake and Tim (Diane) of Woodlawn; his sibling Shirley McGuey of Edmonton; and his grandchildren, James McGuey (Caitlin), Brigitte Twinder (Luke), Andrew Partington, Rachel and Greg McGuey.
