With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wiebren Wielinga (Whitby, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wiebren left this world on February 7, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his grandson David. He is survived by: his spouse Klaaske (Kathy); his children, Henry (Linda), Ingrid (Ted), Arlene (Neil) and Evelyn (Rob); and his grandchildren, Emily (Chris), Brittany (Steve), Joshua (Ashton), Kathleen (Dan), Nathan (Madeleine), Matthew, William, Mackenzie (Channing) and Laura (Lucas). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Emmanuel Reformed Church (401 Rossland Rd W, Whitby, ON L1N3J1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gate 3:16 in Oshawa in his memory.
