He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie and Walter Millar; his parents-in-law, Winnie and John McKenzie; and his brothers, Harold and Ronnie Millar.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne (late Jim Morris), Lional, Walt, Gord (Phyllis) and Heather (Gary); his brothers-in-law, Doug and Ken McKenzie; his children, Stef Isovski (Sam), Laura Millar (Chris), Mike Millar (Anna) and Tina Millar (Richard); his grandchildren, Nikolas, Alexander, Matthew, Viktoria, Leonard and Margaux; and also Wendy Millar.
