Stanley Vincent Scott Obituary

Vince passed away in his 98th year on November 15th with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Betty Scott. Loving father of Lynn (Brian), Rick (Jan) and the late Wayne (Mary) and Susanne (Brian). Cherished grandfather to Wendy (Darren), Brian (Tina), Scott, Tyler (Claire), Ashley (Marcus), Stacey (Trevor), Shannon (Paul), Kristina (Dave), Taryn (Sean) and Alicia (Mike). Vince also leaves behind 20 cherished great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Vince grew up on the Scott family farm in Nobel, Ontario along with his nine siblings who have all predeceased him. He worked various jobs over his life from bus driver to garage mechanic to a mechanical maintainer at the Pickering NGS. Vince loved to hunt and fish and could tell many tall tales. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix with a roll of duct tape. He lived a long, full life and will be truly missed.

As was Vince's wish, cremation has taken place. Private family internment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated.
