He is survived by: his wife Lily; his daughters, Karen (Ron Parkinson) and Hazel (Dan Wilson); his grandchildren, Paige (Scott Wood), Jamie (Tyler Krawchuk), Samantha (Coltyn Reay), Taylor and Jake; his great grandchildren, Holly, Nora, Lily and Rory; and his brother Michael of Edinburgh.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel (110 Dundas St E, Whitby, ON L1N2H7). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
