He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, David (Greta) and Paul (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Janet Whitsitt; his grandchildren, April (Jason), Steven (Mishay), Mary (Stan), Mark (Andrea), Elizabeth (Stephen), Ian (Nicole), Claire (Todd), Jennifer (Rick), Warren (Sara), Ryan (Katherine) and Jonathan (Kim); his son Zan; his granddaughter Kimberly; his parents, Thomas Whitsitt and Ellen Malone; and his wife Audrey Anne Whitsitt. He was also cherished by 27 great-grandchildren.
Only the Covid pandemic was able to force Bill to put down his euphonium.
