Peter McNeil Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter McNeil (Whitby, Ontario), who passed away on October 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Beryl Cameron; and his brother Jeff McNeil. He is survived by: his significant other Linda; his son Peter (PJ); his father James McNeil; his siblings, James McNeil (Lynn), Mark McNeil (Pat), Jacquie Burke (Bob), Christine McNeil (Keith) and Suzanne Crease (Mark); and his stepfather James Cameron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In memory of Peter, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Society would be appreciated.

“My 8 year old son had been taking golf lessons from Peter for the past 2 years. Peter was an incredible teacher and an ever better person. This evening we showed up for our scheduled lesson and just learned of this tragic news from employees at the course. My son and I are both heartbroken to hear of his passing. Peter was so incredibly kind to my son, and is the reason that my son fell in love with the game of golf. My sincere condolences to Peters family. God bless Chris and Landon”
