He was predeceased by: his siblings, Estelle, Henry, Lionel, Cajeton, Alcide, Jean-Eudes, Benoit, Gerard, Hedard, Amandine and Leonard; and his parents, Joseph Légère and Anne-Marie Lanteigne of Lower Caraquet.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne D'Arc; his children, Lise Watt (Brian), Roger (Patricia) and Paul (Cathy); his grandchildren, Roger Watt (Nancy), Gregory Watt (Connie), Paul Légère, Amey Légère (Kaitlin), Rebecca Fontoura (Kyle) and Eric Légère; his great grandchildren, Mikaela Stirpe, Ava-Lise Stirpe, Madelyn Fontoura and Leah Watt; and his brother Hermel.
