Matilda Govaert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Govaert in Whitby, Ontario, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emile. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Margaret), Denise (Ken) and Robert (Zeljka); her grandchildren, Maikel, Maja, Ryan, Nina and Emily; her great grandchild Anna Rose; her siblings, Aunnie, Dragica and Franc; and her daughter-in-law Fran.
Masks must be worn by all visitors and all COVID protocols and screening will be strictly observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
