Marilyn Dawn Jackson Obituary
Marilyn Passed with the same grace as she lived her life on Thursday April 24th at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Alfred Jackson and their adopted son Mitchell. Cherished Mother of Dawn and her husband Robert and Lisa. Loved Grams of Taylor and her husband Mitch and Great Grams of Kane.
Marilyn was the daughter of George M Mills and Mary Marguerite Richmond born in Windsor Ontario. After several careers both in Toronto and Oshawa Marilyn met and was engaged to Alf Jackson Christmas eve 1963 and was married in April 1964.
Marilyn will be remembered for her many years as an active and generous person in her community. Although she had several health challenges over the years, she was not one to complain. She will be missed by many, and her infectious laugh will not be forgotten.
Visitation will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd N Whitby on Friday May 2nd from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. A service to celebrate and remember Marilyn will take place in the Barnes Chapel Friday afternoon at 1:30. Following the service a light reception will take place.
