He was predeceased by: his parents, Jorge Enrique Arango and Elvira Linares; and his sibling Emira Arango. He is survived by: his siblings, Mariela Arango, Euclides Arango, Enrique Arango and Mary Arango; his wife Gloria Arango; his children, Manuel Antonio Arango Jr. (Jennifer Wright), Magda Foster (Andrew) and Stephanie Bialas (Artur); and his grandchildren, Joshua Foster, Braeden Foster, Mirek Bialas, Jackson Arango, Sofia Bialas and Jaimeson Arango.
